A new voice for Hornsby-Ku-ring-Gai
For more than two decades, Triple H 100.1FM has been the community heartbeat on the airwaves throughout Hornsby Shire and the Upper North Shore.
As a locally run, volunteer- led, and volunteer-operated community radio station, Triple H exists to highlight local news, events, music, and celebrate the diverse groups that make the Hornsby Ku-ring-gai area a great place to live!
Sharing stories that matter and better strengthening the connections that make their connection to community stronger.
Triple H was born from a grassroots desire for a truly local and independent community radio station – created by locals, for locals. Today, they are getting back out into the community!
With a new board of directors driving the existing volunteers and members towards a refreshed and renewed radio station.
They broadcast a broad range of content, all produced by volunteers who live and work in the Shire. From emerging local artists to long-standing community groups, from youth voices to experienced broadcasters, Triple H provides a platform where the many voices of Hornsby can be heard. But they are wanting to try and get individuals involved.
What makes Triple H special isn’t just what’s on air – it’s who’s behind it. Their team consists of individuals who want to use their skills, knowledge, and most importantly, time to help drive Triple H into the community as a reliable, fresh and relatable source of free, high quality and engaging content to work, play, and learn along with.
Their presenters, producers, and volunteers are passionate community members who generously give their time and expertise. They are continually trying to amplify their passions and skill sets, building experience and confidence to develop themselves both professionally and provide an inviting and fun space to do it in.
The station plays an important role in celebrating local achievements, promoting grassroots music and events, and creating space for stories to be told in language, in culture, and in ways that reflect the diversity of our region.
As Hornsby Magazine launches as a new platform celebrating life across the Shire, Triple H is proud to stand alongside it. They invite residents to tune in on 100.1FM, stream online through their website or through the Community Radio Plus app.
Come and get involved, meet the team and have some fun with a diverse group of community members!
